Vinous Neal Martin - 05 Jan 23
The 2021 Pommard Les Croix Noires 1er Cru displays more presence and fruit intensity compared to the Les Fremiers: lovely dark cherries intermingling with blackcurrant and dried herbs. The palate is medium-bodied with lithe tannins, fleshy, gentle grip, slightly candied towards the finish with decent length. Maybe it lacks a bit of typicité but there is a lot of pleasure to be found here.
